Dr. Koagel was born in Ocala, Fl. He received his Bachelor's degree in Microbiology with Honors from the University of Florida. He then received his doctorate from the University of Florida College of Dentistry.
Upon graduating, Dr. Koagel went on to pursue a diverse career in private practice and public service.
Dr. Koagel has served in the US Army Reserves, attaining the rank of Major. He has taken advanced training at the Pankey Institute and enjoys giving patients a high quality dental experience in a relaxing environment. When he is not in the office, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife, Susie, and their three children: Gabby, Sophia, and David.
Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Nick Johnson completed the General Practice Residency at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. During that time he received extensive training in dental implants.
Dr. Johnson is also the only general dentist on staff at Northside Hospital-Cherokee. Bringing these services into a classic dental setting allows Woodmont Dental to provide treatment options for nearly every patient. Dr. Johnson has received the Fellowship award from the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD).
When not at work, Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time with his wife Jenny and also driving his kids, Harper, Bryce and Sydney to their sports practices and games.
